Amazon is tightening delivery and handling time rules for UK Fulfilled by Merchant sellers from July 2026. Here's what's changing, and what to do.

Multi-channel inventory management is the process of tracking and controlling stock levels for products sold across more than one sales channel, so that every channel shows an accurate, up-to-date figure at all times. It covers three things: knowing how much stock you have, deciding how that stock is shared between channels, and keeping every platform updated as orders come in. 

If you're one of the brands still relying on Stocky for purchase orders, supplier records, or stock counts, the instinct is to go looking for "a Stocky alternative". That usually just means another Shopify inventory management app that looks and feels similar. We'd push back on that. Stocky was never built to run a growing operation, it was built to plug a gap in Shopify's native tools. Its retirement is a good moment to ask a bigger question, and it's really a question of inventory management vs warehouse management: are you managing inventory, or are you actually managing your warehouse?
