Pick and pack refers to the two core steps of order fulfillment: retrieving items from storage (picking) and preparing them for shipment (packing). For instance, once an online order is placed, a picker receives a digital picklist, retrieves the items, and a packer prepares the order for dispatch with correct documentation and labels.
